MACHINE SHOP

Our in-house CNC & EDM machining capabilities allow us to provide our customers a greater degree of flexibility, while minimizing costs and turnaround time for custom x-ray tube designs.

FILAMENT SETTERS

Cathode assemblies are constructed and inspected for proper manufacturing and filament placement

FINAL ASSEMBLY

Parts are mounted onto glass lathe and sealed into glass envelopes.

PROCESSING

Assembled x-ray tubes are placed onto vacuum pumps and processed over a period of 24 hours.

TESTING

Finished x-ray tubes are placed into test fixtures, energized and slowly seasoned to their full potential.

INSPECTION

Parts and sub-assemblies are checked for proper dimensions and overall quality of manufacture before being sent for final tube assembly and seal-in.
